Palomar strategy is focused on conventional on shore plays offering near term production, where the use of 3D seismic and latest US drilling and completion knowledge is used to prove new reserves. The company is engaged in developing high quality and low risk assets to ensure significant returns to its investors.

Paweł Zuk – Chief Commercial Officer, Country Manager Poland
Paweł Żuk acts as both commercial officer for the Group and business unit manger in Poland. He has 25 years of proven experience in the oil & gas sector and has held a number of management roles that included Operations, Mergers & Acquisitions, Sales and Marketing, Business and Strategy Development. Pawel leads commercial and business development strategy for key assets in Poland and is in charge of Group budgeting, procurement and financial reporting. Prior to joining Palomar in 2014 Pawel spent twelve years with Shell working in domestic, CEE and EU markets managing various downstream business units, designing and implementing strategies, leading corporate relations as well as new business development on gas exploration and distribution front. Pawel also worked for Texaco Corporation (now Chevron) leading Sales and Marketing Operations in Poland and Amoco (now BP) where he was part of commercial market entry team in Poland and CEE countries.
A graduate of the Marketing and Management Department at the College of Entrepreneurship and Management in Warsaw (Kozminski University). She also completed post-graduate studies in real estate brokerage, where she obtained a state real estate broker license. For ten years associated with the commercial real estate industry, she dealt with, among other things, renting office space. She started her adventure in the exploration and production industry in 2011, when she joined the San Leon Energy team as an Office Manager. He has been associated with the Palomar Natural Resources group since 2014.
Pawel is a geoscientist with background in petroleum geology, sedimentology and stratigraphy. Before joining Palomar team in August 2016, Pawel spent six years as a geologist at San Leon Energy where he served a role of a project geoscientist for conventional and unconventional oil and gas assets in Poland, including Carboniferous tight gas and initial phase of Rawicz field appraisal. Pawel holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Geology from the University of Technology and Science in Cracow and a Master’s in Geodynamics and Stratigraphy from the Jagiellonian University in Cracow.
Marcin has eight years of experience in the exploration and production industry. Before he joined Palomar Natural Resources team he worked for two years for the Irish exploration company San Leon Energy as geologist. The key area of Marcin’s research is the geological characteristics of the central and south-west part of the Polish Basin in terms of hydrocarbon prospects. He holds a Master's degree in geology with a specialization in stratigraphic and prospecting geology from the University of Warsaw.
Piotr is a geophysicist working in oil & gas industry for over 15 years. He joined Palomar Natural Resources in 2016. He is mainly involved in seismic data interpretation on all company’s operation areas. Before, for four years, he was an employee of San Leon Energy, where he was engaged in exploration projects in Poland (Fore-Sudetic Monocline), Morocco and Romania. His early experience was gained in Polish Oil and Gas Company, where he was part of exploration teams for Poland and overseas areas (Pakistan, northern Africa, Denmark). For three years he was solely engaged in POGC’s project in Libya, where the company run intense exploration programme (seismic acquisition) in Murzuq Basin.
Piotr gained his Master of Science degree as exploration geophysicist in Academy of Science and Technology (AGH) in Kraków in 2003.
Piotr has over 6 years of extensive drilling, workover and completion experience. He graduated from AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow with a BSc in Petroleum Engineering and MSc. in Drilling Engineering. He completed a course of Well Engineering at University of Stavanger.
He started his career as a floor hand at EXALO Drilling - a land rig contractor. Then he moved to Stavanger, Norway where he has been optimizing offshore wells workover operations at PGNiG Upstream International working on BP co-owned Skarv field. After this tenure he moved to Hamburg, Germany where he was responsible for completion and workover designs of existing wells at RWE Dea Wells International Department. Finally, in 2014 he accepted a position of a Drilling Engineer at Palomar Natural Resources where he contributes to all well-related engineering activities including preparation, design, drilling, completion, testing, workover and supports further field development.
Piotr also has been directly involved in academic research and contributed to SPE OnePetro library.
Piotr has more than nine years of experience in the oil and gas industry. In Palomar Natural Resources he is responsible for drilling operations, permitting, land negotiations, authority relations and development of the production facility. He started as a mud engineer for Polish Oil and Gas Company. Later he worked for AIM listed exploration company San Leon Energy, first in operations and later as an interpretation geologist. He also has experience in construction as he worked for six years in construction industry in the United Kingdom holding supervisory positions. Piotr holds Master’s Degree in Geology from University of Warsaw.
